What if....

I was twitter one afternoon when I came across a tweet that literally made me say WOW! The tweeter, an Assistant Principal, wrote "if tomorrow was your last day to teach, what would you teach?"--I started immediately looking at my lessons for the next day to see what "impact" I would leave my students with. This "tweet" has been on my mind for several weeks now. I have really tried to amp up my lessons, questions and make sure that whatever I am doing with my students is relevant and will leave a lasting impression.

With that said, Pinterest is one of my go to sites for phenomenal teaching ideas. Here are my latest picks that will ENGAGE and IMPACT our students no matter if is your first day of teaching or last.

How cools is this! Students are problem solving, graphing, and communicating all while spelling!

Talk about hands on. Students will love creating and manipulating this activity.

Too Cool! Can't wait for guided math to bust out the Legos!

Makes an awesome bulletin board.

So much fun! We used this in guided math just today!

Fun and interactive

Happy Pinning! On the bright side....9 more school days until spring break!

Is the "follow" option visible when you view my page? I can see it when I log in but I am not sure it is what you are seeing.

Hope this makes sense....any blog advice is much needed! Loved your blog and so glad you commented so I could follow you :)
